Information We Collect
MouseMinds does not require you to create a general app account for most features.
- Local app data: favorites, filters, saved reminders, and similar preferences are stored on your device.
- Location on iOS: if you choose the Closest sorting option, the app may request location access to rank nearby parks on your device. We do not store your location on our servers.
- Disney sign-in for dining tracking: if you use the Dining Reservation Tracker, Disney sign-in happens through Disney's own login flow. We do not see or store your Disney password. Session cookies may be stored on your device so the feature can keep you signed in.
- Optional remote alerts: if you enable cloud-backed alerts, we may store an anonymous installation ID, push notification token, notification authorization status, app version/build, and your alert settings in Firebase so alerts can be delivered.
- Android reminders: the current Android app uses local notifications for reminders and does not upload a push token for those local alerts.
How We Use Information
We use the information above only to provide the app's features, including wait times, crowd forecasts, show schedules, menus, weather, news, podcast playback, dining tools, park sorting, and alerts you choose to enable.
Third-Party Services
MouseMinds uses third-party services and content sources to power the app:
- Queue-Times.com for live wait times and crowd forecasts
- AllEars.net for Walt Disney World restaurant menu information
- Open-Meteo for weather data
- ThemeParks Wiki for live show schedules
- Google News RSS for theme park news
- Libsyn for the podcast feed
- Disney services for dining reservation features
- Firebase and platform push services such as APNs or FCM for optional cloud-backed alerts
These services have their own privacy policies. When you tap an external link, you leave MouseMinds and open that provider directly.
Data Sharing and Storage
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
We share only the limited technical data needed to provide the features you request, such as remote alert delivery or content loading from the services above. Most app preferences and saved items stay on your device. If you delete the app, your local data is removed from that device.
Children's Privacy
MouseMinds does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date.
